Ipad Vs. Low Budget Notebook
no the multi-touch features are easy as hell, and work perfectly every time, and they are simple. at least on my MacBook.
Just out of curiosity why not?
besides from stating that he didnt read every response, he makes his point quite well and clear. discussions also consist of several repetitions. otherwise you would have to ask about all 200 ppl here commenting not to repeat what others said. that would become quite a small and uncommunicative comments section here don't you think?
afaik, discussions are made by letting everyone state his opinion and eventually give reasons for it. no matter whether they are unique or not.....

Bravo to you! Finally an intelligent comment in a long, pedantic, vitriol filled useless argument! I completely agree with you, although I personally am somewhat of a mac fan, I still use both because I have enough common sense to understand using the right tool for the job! I have a Toshiba netbook that has all the features listed, do I use them all? No. If I could I would buy an iPad, I would, only because it has the features I want, not "features I think I might need someday". I thank you for using sense instead of knee-jerk "hate-the-other-side-only-because-it's-the-other-side" argument.
Problem is...Steve Jobs compared the Ipad to Netbooks saying "Netbooks aren't better at anything". That's why it is being compared.
You are sad...LOL
Ok i am not going to bash macs here I know this thread is basically turning into a Mac user vs Pc user. So heres my take on it. I own a PC I use windows 7 and I have enjoyed the experiance so far. My PC does what I need it for. I use it for gaming, writeing and downloading. Also I am used to the format of windows. I have used OSX for the mac as a duel boot on my computer(yes my pc which has an intel board so it worked) and while it was a bit disconcerting at first to get used to it was a pretty good program but just not for what I use my computer for. It did not run alot of my games and really I am just used to Windows since I have been playing with it since original windows. That being said I do own an Ipod which I like better than the xune. My husband has a Xune and I played with it..I like my ipod better. Although I do wish that itunes would stop updateing and changeing everything on me it would seem about once a month. I had to reformat because I was upgradeing from windows xp to Windows 7(i had gone back to xp since windows vista was horribly horribly broken and the reason i suspect is because microsoft saw all the sales of the new OSX and went crap! quick rush the product out! before we are left behind and because of vista I know some people who switched to macs way to make it backfire ya dumbasses) and I forgot to back up my music on my itunes and I had to google how to take the music off of my ipod since itunes had no such option. It would only let me erase all the music I had on it and start over which I found really quite annoying..But I was able to in the end do it. So I will continue to use windows and My pc. I will not say Mac is the devil grrr Mac users suck. Its just not the platform me. Sorry mac users.
It doesn't occur to you that perhaps everyone else is getting it right and Apple are getting it wrong?
They do, its called the MacBook Air.
XP is the most popular OS, yes, but stable? No. The most stable PC OS would probably be NetBSD. Or certainly one of the BSDs.
I will never leave my mac book till someone can duplicate the multi touch features. I don't know why other companies can't get it right.
